Why are all volumes of KGSR's
"Broadcasts" series sold out? Why don't we make more?
The reason is, that the record companies
who generously donate their artists' songs for this charity project, allow
us to use their music for a one-time limited-edition pressing of each
volume of "Broadcasts."
Here is a look at the Broadcasts CDs we have produced
over the past 10 years. ALL OF THESE COMPILATIONS ARE COMPLETELY
SOLD OUT.
Jody Denberg presents the Sims Foundation with a check in the amount of
217,592.00 from the proceeds of "broadcasts, Vol. 9"
At the Austin Music Awards 2001, Jody
Denberg presents SIMS Foundation representative Peyton Wimmer with check
for $132,420.80 - proceeds from the sale of "broadcasts, Vol. 8."
At the Austin Music Awards (3/15/00) KGSR's Jody Denberg presents Peyton Wimmer of the SIMS Foundation with a check for $76,000.00 - the proceeds from the sale of "broadcasts, Vol. 7." Over the past 3 years KGSR has donated nearly $200,000.00 to the SIMS Foundation from the sales of our "broadcasts" releases.
